Jeff Mackinnon was born on February 25th, 1983. He grew up in the Santa Cruz area until he was about 9 when his family moved to La Quinta, CA. Since he was young, he loved filming. He started shooting skateboard videos with his friends. Later he went on to shooting a school TV show with a couple of friends.

After High school, Jeff attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara to attend film school. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree with an enphisis on Directing and Producing.

Since Graduation, Jeff's done some field work in the film industry where he learned a lot of real life, hands on experiences. Jeff is now the Bay Area working with CJ Web Designs - helping build websites and editing videos.
